The second day of my trip in hanoi, i choose to visit the most important destination in Viet Nam.
I booked a room for 2Days 1Night Cruise in Halongbay, and they provide returned service with additional charge, if you stay around old quarter they can pick you up in front of your hotel door, if you stay outside, you have to meet them somewhere around oldquarter.
Every cruise have their own pick up service, with their own price. Mine here, they cost USD 40 per pax for return trip. It's a bit expensive, but when you see the luxury limousine bus is picking you up, suddenly feel it's worth the price.
The length of the trip hanoi-halongbay is around 3 hours. With 20minutes stop in rest area. They have a clean toilets and some local food stalls.
There's a lot of cruise in halong bay, you can find that suit your budget.
I choose to stay in Signature Royal Cruise, because they have jacuzi. You can having your time, soaking in jacuzi while mesmerizing the view of halongbay.
Stay in old quarter hanoi, every tour to out of hanoi only pick you up from hotel if you stay in old quarter. You need to reach old quarter by your self if you stay outside oldquarter area.
The price already include a room, 4 meals on board, activities, but no drinks. So prepare you bottled water if you drink lot of water.
Prepare more clothes if you wanna play kayaking.
Relax and enjoy every minutes your time in halongbay.
