Natural History Museum is the famous museum in London, it has become a house of 80 millions specimens, including fossils, mineral, bones, insects and taxidermy. This museum is devide into four colour zones, each color focus on specific topics and subjects. The Green Zone is more focus on birds, insects, fossils and minerals. You can see Dodo bird skeleton in this zone..

Second zone is Red Zone which focus on Earth, planets and universe. It's more like human evolution, earthquakes and volcanoes.

After that, Blue Zone is focus on dinosaurs, amphibians, mammals, reptiles and marine invertebrates. This is become our favourite zone because you'll see the T-Rex skeleton, very amazing.

Last zone is Orange Zone, in this zone you'll see the wildlife garden. Unfortunately, this zone only open on April - October, so I can't visit this zone on this winter break. But, it's not a big deal because I could visit it later on spring. This museum is good for you who want to increase knowledge about animals and environment.

How to Get There

London have so many museums and today I'm gonna take my Singaporean friend, Elaine, to one of popular museum in London, Natural History Museum. This museum is located in Cromwell Road, London SW7 RD. There are two entrance on this Museum, first on Cromwell Road and second on Exibition Road in South Kensington, beside the Science Museum. For the easy way, you can take the Tube to South Kensington and follow the underground Exibition Road tunnel from the station, then go to sign Natural History Museum exit.

Tips and Trick natural history museum

No entrance fee in this museum, you can visit it everyday from 10 am to 5.50 pm. This museum could be acces by wheel chair via Exibition Road entrance. This museum is very wide, take map or download app for helping you navigate. Bring camera and take your children for upgrade their knowledge about animals :)
