Another halal food in Kuala Lumpur which I will review. Last time I visit Malaysia, I found this halal food which already famous through the country. Restaurant Mee Tarik Warisan Asli is located in 51, Tasik Utama Street, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. Anyway, this restaurant already have many branches in Malaysia.
What makes this restaurant so special? because they make their noodle fresh on location and they made it by hand! This restaurant has open kitchen, so you can see the process of making noodle. The process of making noodle is by "tarik" or pulled. Very interesting. So, not waiting for so long, I ask the menu to the staffs and they handed me the menu.
The price is cheap, it's starting from MYR 6 and you can choose soup noodle or fried noodle. Well, I choose Lamen Soup with Sliced Beef with price about MYR 7. While waiting your food, you can watch the chef cooks your noodle.
And here are my foods are coming. Lamen Soup with sliced beef is incredible. The noodles are thick and the broth was quite light, it has good flavour. Moreover, the slices of beef are pretty tender even they were not as big as the photo in the menu.
I also order their dried noodle too, because I'm curious about the taste. Is that same with Indonesian Fried Noodle? the answer is no. I order Fried Lamen with Beef with price about MYR 9. It's more tasty than Indonesia Fried Noodle. Noodle's texture was soft combine with some vegetables and saweet-salty-spicy sauce. But unfortunately, the beef was not too much.
Overall, I like it. Beside the food are delicious, unique and cheap, they also has good service, the staffs was very friendly. I highly recommend you to visit this restaurant when you visit Kuala Lumpur :)
